Our tables are sold out!

... we have no room left for vendors for our art and craft sale. There will be another sale at the end of the summer, so if you're an artist interested in joining our sale, please keep us in mind. Otherwise, please come and join us on May the 5th! We're in the back room at the community centre - not the main hall. Swing by for a smile and some gorgeous art and craft!

We have our next sale date!

... we'll be renting the back room at the Queensland Community Centre on May the 5th, 2013. Why? Because we've been creating beautiful works of art since December! More gorgeous hand made pottery. More amazing, tantalizing paintings, textiles, among other media. Please join us! We might not have an incredible jazz trio on hand again (we were lucky last time) - but the ambiance and arts and crafts will be more than enough to bring you to our sale.

The space we have booked is the Jenson room - a smaller space at the back of the hall.  Plenty of parking available and easy access.

Drop us a line with any questions - especially if you'd like to display your arts or crafts for sale! We're asking $20 per vendor. Worth every penny. More information will be posted as we get nearer to the date.

An amazing day!

... thanks to everyone who came out to see our artists' work, to enjoy the incredible sounds of the "Dr. Mac" jazz trio, and to try out some fantastic coffee and treats at our café. We're looking forward to the spring, when we'll send out another invitation to come and enjoy the experience again! Here are some pictures taken of the event.

Check out Geoffrey and Marie's work - available for viewing and purchase this Saturday!

Geoffrey Hodson and Marie Crowell are two artists from Ontario, who relocated to live in Waterton Lakes National Park after their travels over recent years. Both have previously worked in art galleries and auctions, and have been known to collaborate on paintings together, from time to time. Geoffrey is a painter, who takes inspiration from the Group of Seven style of painting and the scenic landscapes of Alberta and British Columbia's mountain parks. He is inspired to reinterpret nature's beauty in a bold graphic style, with a vivid palette of acrylic paints. He enjoys both the painting en plein air approach and working from a home studio.

Come and see Teresa's work! Well worth a visit to our show.

Teresa Wyss, a local potter, has been working her craft, on and off, for 13 years. Teresa loves the process of working in clay - the journey is just as rewarding as the destination.
